In the life changing experience of reading Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring, he outlines briefly the personal progression needed to becoming a sought after leader. This leadership role is always filled by  the Alpha person. An Alpha person is what we need to become in order to attract people to us, as attraction is involuntary. If you are a leader, people follow you because they have too, by a natural compulsion left over from our survival days and the hard world of natural selection. This progression starts with us as Beta people looking to be led.

As soon as we find the right leader or a mentor we should then decide at this point to build our own leadership skills. This stage is called the Pre-Alpha stage. This is the stage were we may have to fake it a little, you know, “fake it till you make it”,  but this is not lying or duplicitous, this is simply the “practice makes perfect” stage. Stretching our wings, pushing the envelope and comfort zones. Its really a very exhilarating time!

Here is the hard truth, in order to become a top earner in your company you need to be a leader, an Alpha person. But this is actually a hidden gem of network marketing, you end up becoming a better person and not just rich, with a successful MLM business.
